Policies & Legal

Transparency and clarity in all our policies. Your peace of mind matters.

Retreat Policies

Safety

We operate under a "no pressure" safety standard. Guides may reroute plans at any time based on weather conditions, terrain stability, or guest comfort levels. Your safety is our absolute priority, and we will never compromise it for any reason.

  • All guests receive safety briefings upon arrival
  • Mountain guides are certified and carry emergency equipment
  • Weather conditions are monitored continuously
  • Guests may opt out of any activity at any time

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are enforced after 21:00 in corridors and shared spaces. This policy ensures that all guests can enjoy the restorative silence that defines the Aurelia Peaks experience.

  • Common areas transition to low-light, no-device zones after 21:00
  • Conversations should be kept to a whisper in shared spaces
  • Room doors should be closed gently
  • Electronic devices should be on silent mode

Cancellation & Refunds

Flexible options depend on season and demand. Your confirmation email includes the exact terms for your booking period.

  • 30+ days before arrival: Full refund minus 5% processing fee
  • 14-29 days before arrival: 75% refund or credit for future stay
  • 7-13 days before arrival: 50% refund or credit for future stay
  • Less than 7 days: No refund, but credit may be available for exceptional circumstances
  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended

Respect for Nature

Stay on marked routes, avoid wildlife zones, and keep noise minimal outdoors. We are guests in this alpine environment, and our presence should be as unobtrusive as possible.

  • Stay on designated trails and routes
  • Do not approach or feed wildlife
  • Carry out all trash and belongings
  • Respect seasonal wildlife protection zones
  • Minimize noise in natural areas

Check-in & Check-out

Check-in is available from 15:00, and check-out is by 11:00. Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability.

Age Restrictions

Children are welcome, but the retreat is designed primarily for adults seeking quiet and restoration. Children under 16 must be supervised at all times, and we ask that families respect the quiet atmosphere.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas and on balconies. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available, but we encourage guests to consider the impact on air quality and other guests.

Pets

We love animals, but to maintain our quiet atmosphere and protect local wildlife, pets are not permitted. Service animals are welcome with advance notice.
